I just watched the first season of Monk on DVD this fall...I thought it was quite good. Unfortunately I am not able to read books during the semester. I checked out one book from the library in August and turned it back in just before Christmas, half-read. That's pretty sad. DVDs have been my books in Portland so far. I get them from the library for free, too!
